Sheltersuit Label is a socially-minded luxury streetwear brand. For his debut collection, Bas Timmer infused streetwear and classic styles in a collaborative approach. Drawing on his manifesto “People Helping People,” Timmer turned real-life recorded conversations with Sheltersuit recipients into prints. On the runway, the looks were modeled by a diverse lineup of street dancers and ballet dancers from the Paris Opera.
The label's origin and purpose is the Sheltersuit Foundation, dedicated to protecting the unsheltered, through collective action, using products made with upcycled materials, and social factories providing jobs for people distanced from the labour market. Sheltersuit Label's garments are designed around key pillars of innovation, durability, reusability, freedom, and hope.
Collaborators : Shopredone, Lisa Konno, Studio Joris De Groot, Lucien Pagès, Chloé
Styling : Antoine Joseph Paoli | Music : Nobunagalewing | Photography : Tony Docekal, Alex Pommier
